I enjoyed the story of Bastyan and Antos, however I wish there was more backstory and plot in this book. It's focus was mainly on the Bastyan submitting to Antos, which honestly didn't take to long. In addition, in the end, we never find out what happens with Tengai. Especially since he seemed to have a decent role in the beginning. Was he kicked out of the kingdom when the Royal family was? To me it seems like the book starts off well, but then the meat of the story gets put to the side for all the lust between the two MC's. I just needed more story from the book and unfortunately the author didn't deliver in that area.Product details

I enjoyed reading about these two men and how their life's were changed. What some people(family) would do to protect what they thought was important but we're proving wrong.
I found this different from his other works. This was by far my least favorite from this author. It wasn't completely horrible just boring.
Found this one to be really good. There is a story with a twist. Dominance, submission, and betrayal. All good qualities in a book. I liked the main characters and there personalities. It's not disappointing.
I enjoyed the interaction between the main characters and secondary ones. The story flows very well. The author is very good at painting pictures. The relationship between Bastyan and Antos is great.
I really love this series. This is the first book in the series and it caught me from the word go. Each book I've read in one sitting. Sexy and pulse-raising. I wish there was a 4th book! I keep hoping.
I loved this book. Antos and Bastyan were amazing characters and I loved seeing them grow together. Seeing Bastyan over come his hang ups. And Antos come to grips with his feelings. Such a good story and such good writing. I thought Bastyan's dad was a jerk first for how he got the two together, and then again for how he kept them apart. I don't want to spoil the book for anyone, but you really should read this. I highly recommend it!
Well that was just so much softer than I expected (or wanted). I def. wanted a lot more harsh and kinky - but what I got was more sweet - what can I say...I like my Barbarians to be rough, dirty, and forceful. So sue me. Not sure I want to read more. Recommended for those that want their Barbarian on the soft and loving side.
